Probably one of the most used phrases in the world: Watch this space! But we sincerely mean it, so don’t miss out. Over that last 11 years my hubby, Geran, and I have been presenting Wildlife Conservation Medicine Courses to veterinary students from around the globe. It has been a privilege to welcome enthusiastic, motivated young people into our home, and give them a glimpse into the life of a Wildlife Veterinarian in South Africa. But it is time to broaden our horizons. Not only have we started our own stables, Shire Moon, but we are finally branching out to incorporate Geran’s extensive photographic knowledge.

On our recce trip in Mozambique

My hubby is a professional photographer who operated in the South African film industry in the years prior to Wildlifevets, and we are bringing it all back. Photography allows one to capture a moment and keep it forever. Photography gives us the ability to share those moments with others, and can evoke emotions, inspire creativity, and uplift the human spirit. We are therefore launching a 2 week photographic course, open to all who enjoy peering through a lens and discovering our beautiful country. Details will be posted here soon. We are both new to WordPress, so please be patient, it should be up and running soon.

Over the last 11 years, students have asked for my recipes. Now I have the platform to publish these recipes and my culinary knowledge and share my love of food with you all. Keep checking in, I will not disappoint 😉
